Student Housing North is a 21st century residential learning community which will provide apartment units, parking and a village center with recreation and retail facilities for 2700 students. Initial cost is projected to be $270 million with final completion around 2010. ProjectEDGE has been brought in early at the design phase as a single repository for core team members to track activities and share information effectively between the owner and owners' consultants. After the design phase is complete and construction awards are in place, ProjectEDGE will continue on through the construction phase as the preferred software extranet application vendor.

 

Engineering IV is a 104,000 SF building to house its aeronautical, mechanical, civil, environmental, industrial and manufacturing engineering programs. The floors will house specialized laboratory areas (mechanical, electrical and aerospace engineering) and faculty offices. Team members will use the ProjectEDGE software during the construction phase to coordinate all project activity. The total project budget is $29 million with scheduled completion 12/31/06.
