The Communication Media Building will be located between the Ball Communications Building and the Robert Bell Building on its Muncie campus. Team members will use the ProjectEDGE software during the construction phase to coordinate all project activity between Ball State Facilities Planning and Management, design consultants, prime contractor, sub-contractors and vendors. The building will allow for the expansion of the Telecommunication and Information and Communication Sciences programs and will permit the Department of Communication Studies to be located alongside other units of the College of Communication, Information, and Media. The $21,000,000 project includes 78,000 GSF (50,200 ASF) of new construction and 28,200 GSF (18,900 ASF) of renovation.
